Creating connections to combat the isolation of addiction.

Connect to yourself

Has addiction impacted your ability to connect to other humans? Does addiction feel like the only norm in life? In a crowd of people, do you feel isolated and alone?

Sweet soul, you’re not alone. In a popular TED Talk, Johann Hari famously concludes the opposite of addiction is not sobriety, it is human connection. SCA Integration was born of a desire to help people reestablish the connection to their truest selves, to break the cycles of addiction.

Connect with others

Addiction is isolating. Humans are social creatures needing safe and meaningful connections with other humans. In the absence of connection, in the darkness addiction grows and thrives. Conversely, developing healthy interpersonal connections shines a bright light illuminating the path to recovery and healing.

Recovery, based on social connection is not easy, but it is possible — even for the most troubled addicts.
